Measurement Principle: The split electromagnetic flowmeter works based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. When a conductive liquid passes through a magnetic field, it will cause an induced electromotive force in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic field. By measuring the magnitude of this induced electromotive force, the flow rate of the conductive liquid can be calculated. The electromagnetic flowmeter generates a strong magnetic field around the measuring tube and calculates the flow rate by measuring the induced electromotive force generated when the conductive liquid passes through the magnetic field.
Application: Split electromagnetic flowmeter is mainly used to measure the volume flow of conductive liquids and slurries in closed pipes, including highly corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis, and salts.
